I hated The Lost Boys and I'm lukewarm to Fright Night.

My favorite lesbian vampire movie is Vadim's Blood and Roses.Vulnavia Morbiushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04722740955194993451noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470604276410220159.post-70939995311017638292010-06-28T17:44:18.384-04:002010-06-28T17:44:18.384-04:00What? Kathryn Bigelow's dark, dirty vision still holds up today and is the perfect antidote to yelping teens swooning over the Twilight universe.

The classics are still the classics though, and both NOSFERATU and DRACULA remain must sees.Movies at Midnighthttp://moviesatmidnight.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470604276410220159.post-913438981777821392010-06-27T12:55:11.637-04:002010-06-27T12:55:11.637-04:00I hate Underworld. There isn´t one original idea in that movie, all concepts are "borrowed" from novels and role-playing games, without acknowledging them.

Fright Night is a classic. Still a lot of fun. Best use of the song "Strangers in the Night" in a horror movie :-)

Nosferatu has become as iconic as Lugosi´s Dracula.AndyDeckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12806906746754478064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470604276410220159.post-86562234410641262602010-06-27T10:03:21.514-04:002010-06-27T10:03:21.514-04:00great readgreat readthhjasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10590945474351052047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8470604276410220159.post-34176268173769620492010-06-27T07:31:09.825-04:002010-06-27T07:31:09.825-04:001. Max Schreck's surname means 'terror'...1. Max Schreck's surname means 'terror' in German and that is so totally sweet. As much as I love Dracula, Nosferatu is actually extremely scary. The film is so grainy, though. I wish I could see high quality footage of Schreck's makeup.

2. Underworld is one of the three movies I've never been able to finish now matter how hard I try. God, I hate that movie. The others are Freddy Got Fingered and The Pest.

3. Fright Night is contender for my best horror movie of the 80's title. Icons of Fright had a great article and interview with Tom Holland about how it's full of all these unexplored gay themes.Cinema Suicidehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02616153871018580334noreply@blogger.com
