B-Sol, as i said, Amicus weren`t quite in the same league as Hammer but any Amicus film veiwed completely at random now is still infinitely better than any of the garbage thats produced by the (so-called) British film industry today ! ! !. The sad demise of those two truly great film companys in the late 70`s dealt a savage blow to the British film industry from which it has never recovered, nearly all the British films produced over the last 35 years (with admittedly a few exceptions here and there) have been unimaginative, out-moded, pathetic, laughable, unwatchable garbage.
