Preach on dude. I have two of these near me in Dallas and love them both. From horror to grindhouse to artsy fartsy, they really do an amazing job of educaitng the public about these films and bringing them to the big screen.
Dallas also has a series of theaters that sell regular food items and have a full service bar. You read that right. So even if you are watching the most craptastic film ever made, you can do so over a pitcher of beer. Good times indeed.
Amen, brother. I love the Avon, especially the cult classic series. Heck, they had Let the Right One In a few months ago (I couldn't make it - darn!). I can't wait for RoboCop and The Warriors!!
Very well said, we happen to have a few out here in San Francisco and got to see Cannibal Holocaust for the first time, simply put, it was awesome. Keep up the good work
Let the Right One In had two showings (not two nights - two showings) a few months ago at 10:30 p.m. - with very short notice! I wanted to go, but something came up that probably wasn't as cool as I've heard this movie is.
I need to find one near me, other than in Chicago...

There's got to be a website out there that lists all the theaters of this type across the country. It would be a very useful guide.
