Wasn't a big fan of The Box but I reeeeeeeally wanna see Legend of Hell House.
Someone made a movie out of "Person to Person"? Cool! Now if someone can take on "The Distributor"...
I liked the Twilight Zone version of "Button, Button" better than The Box, but that's just me.
No love for Duel? Or the Corman Poe movies Matheson adapted? I suppose there's only so many embeds you can use before it slows things down. Thanks, anyway, for reminding me of Matheson's greatness (as if I needed reminding).
The box was an... interesting movie. Went totally off the rails, though. Some cool trailers here.
I was not much of a fan of The Box, either. Walked out on it, actually. And I know I left out some Matheson classics...will have to save them for volume 2...
Wow, what a treasure trove for Matheson fans! And you cover a nice range from the sublime (THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN) to the ridiculous (THE BOX, which of course wasn't Matheson's fault). Believe it or not, there are multiple "Person to Person" videos floating around on YouTube; the teaser shown here is a trailer to a movie that doesn't exist. Dr. Morbius may be interested to know that "The Distributor" was adapted into two unproduced speculative screenplays, one by Matheson himself (published in his collection DUEL & THE DISTRIBUTOR, which I edited) and one by TAXI DRIVER scribe Paul Schrader. For further information, see my book RICHARD MATHESON ON SCREEN (http://www.mcfarlandpub.com/book-2.php?id=978-0-7864-4216-4).
