VIDEO REVIEW! My Son and I Take on PACIFIC RIM, Guillermo del Toro's 21st Century Kaiju Masterpiece!
Direct from Jack's Movie Town, the movie review blog of my son Skeleton Jack (a.k.a. Wee-Sol), I give to you this very special video review of the film that single-handedly saved the summer of 2013 for me...

B-Sol, its appalling and totally unacceptable that a piece of unwatchable garbage like "Grown Ups 2" has defeated the unmittigated brilliance and genius of "Pacific Rim" at the North American box office this past week-end, Adam Sandler and Kevin Smith are both murderously and embarrassingly unfunny talentless morons and rubbish like them should not have been allowed to besmirch and pollute the opening week-end of a truly great movie like "Pacific Rim", the fickleness and sheer stupidity of the American movie going public never ceases to amaze me, good reveiw by the way.
B-Sol, just as a footnote to this post, i never understood why the 1998 American remake of Godzilla with Matthew Broderick was trashed by critics to the levels that it was (and struggled at the box-office relatively speaking as well), i thought it was better by itself than ALL the Japanese made Godzilla movies put together (which, for me, are now virtually unwatchable), Godzilla `98 was a true masterwork just like Pacific Rim.
Jimmie, while I don't share your opinion of Godzilla '98, I too am shocked and depressed that a movie like Grown-Ups 2 would trounce a movie like Pacific Rim. It's frightening to think that American moviegoing public seems unwilling to pay attention to original properties these days.
