Kenneth Branagh Interested in Remaking Another Horror Classic

There are those who love and those who hate Kenneth Branagh's 1994 take on Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. But whatever your opinion, this news coming out of Fangoria.com has got to grab you.

Fango scribe Chris Alexander, writer of the excellently named Blood Spattered Blog, has an exclusive interview with Branagh up in which the acclaimed actor/director reveals that he is actively pursuing doing a remake of Jacques Tourneur's eminently terrifying 1957 favorite Night of the Demon. Take a listen, the remake talk kicks in at about the two-minute mark:

I concur. great blog, to which i am a recent but persistent visitor. most intriguing news about Kenneth Branagh's wish to remake Night of the Demon. I have to admit to actually quite enjoying his version of Frankenstein (one of the more faithful adaptations). Night of the Demon is one of my favourite films... I shall reserve judgement until i hear/see more about the remake.

I personally thought Brannagh's Frankenstein was horrible. Boring. Bland. Lacked pace and suspense. Shall I go on?

God only knows what he'll do to Night of the Demon!
