Though not a horror movie, per se, I would have liked to see Ichii the Killer up here. Really more of a crime/thriller, there are some strong horror aspects, with a crazed, barely controlled murderer on the loose in the Yakuza underground, as well as quite a lot of gore and torture. It also has one of the most memorable characters I know, Kakihara.
